People in Southern Kenya

My second solo exhibition „People in Southern Kenya“ displayed more than 70 portraits from mostly women from the Digo tribe. I have been visiting Kenya for several years now. During my last visit, I was allowed to portraits these wonderful people. You might realize that I have pretty much only photographed women. The reason for this is simple. I can see and recognize the soul and the heart in women much easier than I can in men. In order to see, it is important to have an almost intimate, very close connection. For me this is just much easier with women than with men.
